PENDER HARBOUR EMERGENCY FOOD BANK DRIVE
In times of emergency, food banks are put under extreme and extraordinary pressure. Not only do community members experience increased financial distress, but students who often receive food at school through a variety of community service groups no longer have access to those important and healthy meals.
Due to increasing demand on Food Bank resources, after the Monday, April 13 joint meeting, Pender and Egmont clients will meet on alternate Mondays from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Community Church. Pender Clients will meet on Monday April 20 and every second Monday thereafter and Egmont clients will meet on April 27 and every second Monday. Contact Joka Wright, 604-883-9773, email: email@example.com.
You can now donate ONLINE and DIRECTLY to the Pender Harbour Food Bank through Sunshine Coast Community Services. Alternately, you can mail a cheque to the Pender Harbour Community Church.
This is the time for your “Pender Harbour Spirit” to shine. Thanks in advance for your support of this longstanding community resource!
